Cannon Beach Family Vacation- {Oregon-Family-Photographer}

For Mother’s Day this year my husband decided to whisk us away to the Oregon Coast for a quick weekend vacation. We went to Cannon Beach, Oregon and stayed at the amazing Surfsand Resort. Coincidentally, this month’s Out Of the Box Blog Circle theme was “water”! How perfect did that work out?! Between the beach and the pool we were surrounded by water, so here are some of my favorite memories from Mother’s Day 2015. (I should also note that my kids get a wee bit annoyed when I follow them around with the camera, but since it was mother’s day they weren’t allowed to complain. LOL!) Make sure to follow through the whole blog circle and check out San Diego Portrait Photographer Lauren Nygard for her “Water” blog!!

The Surfsand Resort is literally ON the beach. We were in a ground floor room and our deck opened directly to the beach. It was perfect! So we spent most of our time out there. oregon-child-photogpaher-5Pin It!oregon-child-photographer-4Pin It!oregon-family-photographer-3Pin It!beachblogPin It!

Cannon Beach is small, but has so many fun activities within walking distance of each other. It’s really perfect for families! We rented these very cool beach bikes and everyone zipped around for a few hours!

Then we walked down to some of the natural tide pools. Natural tide pools are my favorite because they change after every tide. The kids were so fascinated!!

We finished up our day in the fabulous pool. It was super warm and not very deep. They really cater their property to kids and families at the Surfsand!

I really can’t say enough amazing things about this weekend. I hope you enjoyed checking out some of the pictures. Remember to stop by San Diego Portrait Photographer Lauren Nygard for her take on the “water” theme for this month! Thanks everyone!!
