It’s blog circle time again! As I’ve mentioned before I am part of a blog circle for photographers called “Outside the Box“! The idea is that each member blogs about the same theme and then we link to each other at the end of the post. The reader can click through the links and “circle” through all of the blogs to see how each photographer interprets the theme. It’s so much fun to see how everyone expresses their own unique vision for the theme so make sure to follow the link in the posts! This month’s theme is “Art of Childhood”.
I had grand ideas of getting some super gorgeous “fine art” portraits of my littlest, but alas, mother nature had different plans. I got her dressed, got ready to go down to Fort Vancouver, and *boom* cue crazy rain showers. lol. So we went out and danced in the rain instead. We were able to bring her sweet friend Delilah with us, and they had a ball splashing around and running in the storm. While it was exactly what I had planned to do, I guess nothing really says “childhood” more than running and splashing in puddles! I LOVE what we ended up with, and I hope you enjoy it. Make sure to stop by Okinawa Family Photographer, Kristi James Photography‘s blog and check out her “Art of Childhood” blog as well!!
These sweet girls had a blast running through the grass in the rain!
My Adalynn had a random spoon with her for some reason. LOL. So she had a great time scooping the mud with it!
They found a huge puddle to run though as fast as their little legs could carry them! Puddles splashing is the best!
Adalynn was SO excited, bu I think she underestimated how cold the water was. Her face cracked me up!!
